Position Summary:
PRO*ACT is looking for an experienced individual to join our Accounting team! In this role you will ensure that accounting transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger; general ledger accounts are reconciled in a timely manner and balances are fairly stated. You will assist with audits and budget processes, investigate and resolve customer queries, and prepare financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to grow their career in Accounting within the Fresh Produce industry!
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
- BS in Accounting or equivalent required
- 3+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience required
- High level of proficiency with accounting software programs required
- Experience working with private/for-profit company required.
- General Ledger experience required.
- Experience with recording journal entries required.
- Familiarity with reconciling all types of Balance Sheet accounts required.
- Experience analyzing data required.
- Working knowledge of Balance Sheet & Income Statement required.
- Experience with generating and reviewing Trial Balance and Financial Statement Reports required.
Salary Description: $75,000 – $95,000 Annually
