Education:

• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
• Experience with automated accounting system.
• Agriculture industry preferred.

Knowledge:

• General ledger preparation, GAAP, government, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Reporting Relationship:

Typically reports to Controller or Director Accounting and Finance or CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for staff and resources associated with general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close, and the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
