About me

Greetings:
I am seeking a new work home for the next stage of a deeply stimulating and challenging
career within the greater fresh produce/perishable foods industry.
I have enjoyed more than 20 years of deep engagement in sales, business development,
marketing, and customer needs-driven product development. My experience includes all
related staff, facility, and logistics management. I have personally managed business
development and sales in retail, foodservice, wholesale, industrial, and club channels. I
have also developed retail food broker relationships in the Midwest and Southeast regions
Throughout my career I have engaged with the Produce Marketing Association,
UnitedFresh, the Southeast Produce Council, Fresh Produce and Floral Council, and
served as Chairman of the Oxnard Growers-Shippers Association.
My recent employment in the temperature monitoring industry has kept me tangentially
engaged in the fresh produce industry, but I am seeking to return to more direct
involvement in fresh produce; what I believe is the most engaging and dynamic industry
in the world.
I believe my wide and varied experiences, my innate abilities, and my can-do attitude
make me a good match for a wide range of opportunities in the fresh produce industry.
I am seeking to continue my career with either a home-based or Ventura County, CA
work location. I am seeking opportunities that might include travel in the 50% range. I
can make myself available for teleconference or meeting on short notice.
Sincerely,
Roger H. Niebolt
