Ocean Mist is looking for a detailed oriented, collaborative and creative Sr. Finance Manager to join our growing Finance team. This position will report to Director of Finance and provide reporting and analytical support to various business functions of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the financial partner for Sales & Marketing and other business functions.
• Understand key business drivers and develop financial and operational metrics and reporting.
• Understand data flow across the company, recommend and implement improvements in data management.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization in reporting across various business functions.
• Pro-actively analyze data trends, making and driving performance improvements, communicate business issues to senior management and propose actions.
• Lead preparation and consolidation of the strategic plan, annual budget, monthly forecasts, and monthly results analyses for the business function (s) in question.
• Performing ad hoc reporting, research and analysis as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost-benefit analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with Senior Management and Financial Partners in Sales, Marketing, and other business functions to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative environment and work closely with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling. Agriculture experience is highly desired but not required.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Excel and understanding of ERP systems & data are a must. PowerBI, PowerQuery, Essbase, Tableau desired but not required. ERP and / or BI implementation experience is a plus.
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Experience partnering with various functional groups such as sales, operations, etc. and driving financial results.
• General understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Ability to grasp new concepts and processes quickly. Ability to forge their own path, identify issues and develop solutions.
• High tolerance to ambiguity.
• Curiosity and desire to innovate and find better ways.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mine and combine data from multiple sources. Comfort around large and incomplete data sets is a must.
