We are seeking a Sales and Operations Demand Planner (Business Analyst) to play a key role in implementing, managing, and continuously improving Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes at Misionero. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand, optimize production schedules, and ensure efficient operation of our supply chain to deliver fresh and healthy produce to our customers.

This position is responsible for analyzing sales data, market trends, and forecast accuracy to ensure customer demand is met while minimizing supply chain disruptions. As part of the team, you will present key recommendations to stakeholders, lead monthly/weekly S&OP reviews, and drive the success of our business planning strategies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop, implement, and manage the S&OP process, including sales forecasting and production planning for Misionero’s products.
• Lead the S&OP planning cycle with regular reviews of forecasts and production schedules to support customer demand.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to align supply and demand, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Analyze key customer accounts and historical sales data to highlight trends, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend forecast adjustments to support business objectives.
• Translate monthly demand into weekly buckets, considering operational constraints across Misionero’s various product lines and supply chain capabilities.
• Ensure supply aligns with customer demand in collaboration with the Master Scheduler.
• Monitor and maintain forecast accuracy metrics and adjust strategies to minimize forecast error, focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Work with business development and product lifecycle management to align product transitions, obsolescence, and new introductions.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and operations; present S&OP reports and actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements based on data analysis and feedback.
• Manage forecast maintenance in ERP systems (NetStock or similar) and reconcile forecasts to actual demand, helping Misionero streamline its operations.
• Assist in project planning and execution, while staying current on industry best practices in sales and operations planning within the fresh produce industry.
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Chain, or similar roles, preferably in the fresh produce or food industry.
• In-depth understanding of demand drivers in the fresh produce sector and the ability to apply appropriate forecasting methods.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, S&OP software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to interpret and act on complex data.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to align business goals and operational plans.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools preferred.

Salary: $80,000 – $95,0000 / Annual
