RAW PRODUCT ASSISTANT SUPPLY MANAGER - EARTHBOUND FARMS This position is responsible for the daily order management for the following commodities: Romaine, Radicchio, Herbs, Broccoli, and Cauliflower. This position includes: day to management of ongoing contracts, daily inventories, year round quality, year round supply, accounting etc. of the commodities listed above. FRESH EXPRESS – 1994 to 2005 Supply Manager This position is responsible for providing a consistent and coordinated supply of raw material to the Fresh Express Plants. Raw Product Assistant Supply Manager This position requires all administrative type functions associated with the Raw Product Dept. with in the Fresh Express Co. Job responsibilities include: Daily Reporting by use of Excel and the PRMS System, Maintenance of the notes on the daily dept. meeting, over see the daily dept. functions between Raw Prod., Cust. Serv., And our in house Transportation Dept., responsible for tracking the dept. employees vacation accounts and time cards, act as the back up for all Raw Product Managers and the Customer Serv. Dept., tracking of all product purchased on the outside for the east coast facilities as well as our local facility, the processing of invoices on all outside bin and field sales of our main account “Fresh Kist” and all other field sales, processing of all inter-co regional A/R corrections, the laison between the Raw Prod. Dept. and the Grower Acctg. Dept. on all activities, etc. Customer Service Manager This position requires the overseeing of all daily functions. Responsibilities include the coordination of harvest and transportation of all raw product commodities for the East Coast Facilities. The process includes a complex schedule containing current orders, previous days inventory, and current days harvest, for up to 4 harvesting locations. The transportation entails, the compiling of various information by a computerized AS400 System to provide a conclusion for each load. The job responsibilities also include extensive Accounting of all commodities by use of Excel Spreadsheets and the inter-co PRMS System. The process includes: invoicing, tracking of payments for outside suppliers, balancing the inventory on a daily basis for all commodities to include research on any miss loads that occur, processing of A/R corrections, maintain and research all invoicing problems. Responsible for heading any special projects that may come up from outside departments and suppliers. Provide customer service to the Regional Facilities. Accounts Payable Supervisor The position began with clerk type functions. Responsibilities included the over seeing of all daily functions. Responsible for 2 and a half persons staff. Other job functions included: data entry, processing and distribution of invoices, general ledger coding, reporting maintenance, the processing of checks through a computerized AS400 System, sole processor of manual and voided checks, sole responsibility of month end closing process. Maintain relations and company policies with company departments and outside vendors. The set up of special contract payments. Maintain Excel Spreadsheet reporting and monthly generated invoice to other regional facilities.
