Job Description
As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Accounting Staff to ensure the efficient and compliant execution of accounting functions as per company policies and internal controls.
- Maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations within prescribed schedules and in accordance with company policies.
- Production of financial statements and reports aligned with company timelines and operational requirements.
- Lead the annual audit process and maintaining meticulous records with accordance to GAAP
- Development and adherence of corporate accounting policies ensuring compliance with GAAP for all financial reporting, while staying abreast of accounting regulation changes.
- Contribution to annual budget formulation and oversight of capital expenditure approvals.
- Collaboration with division counterparts to enhance existing financial processes, adopt new technologies, and strengthen internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial. Lead accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.S./B.A. degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
- Position requires 5+ years of accounting management experience within a large ($300m+ Revenue) organization
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller Experience with Famous is highly preferred Strong
- Excel skills are required

Salary: $140k – $160k / yearly
