POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Executive Assistant will report directly to the VP of Sales. They will execute daily tasks and responsibilities, while being proactive in maintaining on-going projects listed below:

  • Managing Online Retailer Specific Platforms
    • Updating pricing, contracts, SKU details
    • Creating & submitting promotions
    • Coordinate & distribute information to sales team
  • Marketing & Sales
    • Preparing Sales Presentations
    • Research ways to build improved communication processes within sales team
    • Attend sales meetings, keep meeting notes, and assist with customer follow up
    • Collaborate with marketing & sales team as needed to fulfill sales requests
    • Prepare Item Fact Sheets, compile SKU data by customer requests
    • Generate Price Sheets
    • Assist with RFP preparation & Submission
    • Research industry topics, provide summary to sales team
  • Sample Requests:
    • Support R&D with packing sample requests for customers and tradeshows.
    • Locate & provide accompanying marketing and sales materials by request
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintaining internal sales reports & communicating changes with sales team
    • Help monitor customer communications
    • Generate & distribute sales reports
    • Updating & maintaining spreadsheets
    • Ad hoc: Other duties and tasks as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines with sense of urgency
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to think and communicate strategically
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to generate well written emails, memos, and sales communications
  • Ability to work independently with clear direction
  • Professional, self-motivated and goal oriented

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires local area travel, personal use of vehicle, must have a valid driver’s license and be insured. Work-related mileage will be reimbursed.

EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree, currently enrolled in college, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Agribusiness, Communications or Public Relations preferred.
  • Sales and Marketing experience is a plus.
  • Requires continuing education as needed for role and other job-related areas.
  • Experience using Dropbox, Google Analytics, Google Docs, Smartsheet, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.

Salary range estimate $20-$25 or based on experience.
